  • A Plan for 2020-21

There is no denying these are challenging, even extraordinary days for all of us. We are caught between a rock and a hard place— we want to have our young women back at school with us and we must attend to the safety and well-being of all students, faculty, staff and community on the Hill at Flintridge Sacred Heart. This is not an easy space to be in, and the changing nature of the data coming from the CDC and Department of Public Health for Los Angeles County challenges us to be realistic and cautious in our decisions about returning to school. We know we will return to a Flintridge Sacred Heart in-school experience; when we will return is not as clear.

We present to you “.” Our commitment is to provide our young women with a strong educational experience, whether via distance learning or in-person on campus. Our promise to educate the whole girl has not changed—we have carefully designed a plan that will allow for remote learning as well as participation in programs on campus.

Thank you for your support of our mission and our programs.  We ask that you read our learning plan carefully. Soon, you will receive a survey, asking for your feedback; we would appreciate your response by Friday of this week.

    With gratitude,

    Sister Carolyn McCormack
